Пример 1:
качаем somestuff.alt1.src.rpm размером 10 Мб, находим багу сборки и
жалуемся мейтнетеру, выпускается somestuff.alt2.src.rpm размером 10 Мб,
а разница между ними - патч на 1 Кб...
Пример 2:
В сизифе лежит coolstuff-1.0.alt1.src.rpm размером 10 Мб, нам доподлинно
известно что в решены проблемы с кирилицей, но сам пакет не подходит для
наших задач и вот выходит новая версия и на сайте написано что проблема
решена (или функциональность увеличена до требуемого уровня), сам тарбол
лежит на www.coolstuff.org и весит 12 Мб и после скачивания оказывается
что с кирилицей проблемы... Мейтнетер в данный момент не в состоянии
опакетить новую версию и нужно или скачать 10 метров старого пакета или
таки спек + патчи... Опять таки разница порядка 10 Мб трафика...
