Делаю... Всё по нулям (installed, removed, upgraded...)
Если делать apt-get -f install имя пакета, то опять же, как узнать
список неустановленного.

В общем, я перезагрузился и сделал повторно apt-get update & apt-get
dist-upgrade. Вроде на этот раз всё прошло гладко.
Единатвенное, почему то слетело ядро. У меня по умолчанию грузилось
2.4.20-alt5-up, а стало 2.2.25. Причём все варианты в загрузочном меню
GRUB идут именно на него. А это ядро не хочет видеть ext3 разделы.
Ладно, пока просто прописал в загрузчик, буду разбираться.
