Это всё понятно. Речь о другом. Не используются возможности работы с
базой пакетов как целым. Вот о чём речь.
Знаете старую шутку про совместимость с ... и лучше? Тут аналогичная
ситуация. В базе есть библиотека новее установленой и отвечающая
заданому критерию =<. Но этот факт игнорируется. А должен бы
использоваться. Вот о чём речь. Я так понял, что это не реализовано.
Значит получается запрос о дополнительной функциональности. А
значит, появляется другой вопрос, может ли это чему-то мешать? ИМХО,
нет. И кроме того есть механизмы обработки исключительных ситуаций.
