Простите дурака, но, непонятно.
Почему когда переименовал 2.4.19-stable-up-old в 2.4.19old новое ядро
загрузилось нормально. Да и old всегда грузилось как положено, как его
не переименовывай.
Получается что 2.4.19-stable-up-old равно 2.4.19-stable-up
