Тут ldv@ обратил внимание на такую багу, связанную со screen-5.0.0:

Если коротко, screen-5 содержит какое-то неисчислимое количество
регрессий. Предлагаю вернуться на screen-4.* .
Я в этом убедился, когда пытался фиксить другую багу:

Пофиксить не удалось, потому что нельзя сделать нормальный bisect
(в его процессе возникают разнообразные иные ошибки сборки).
Пересборку 4.8.0 протестировал и отправил в Сизиф.
Надеюсь, соберётся.
Пока будем двигаться к 4.9.1, как в Debian.
А Федоре и Арчу — сочувствовать: у них, вроде бы, тоже 5.0.0
