Приветствую.
В Сизиф ушёл Cyrus-IMAP 2.5.11. В версии 2.5.10, через которую пакет
перескочил, был такой багфикс:
Fixed bugzilla #3909: idled(8) no longer runs as root (thanks Carlos Velasco)
В итоге /var/lib/imap/socket/idle создавался с root:root, а вот при
остановке cyrus-imapd он не удаляется сам. Это вызывает проблему при
рестарте:
cyrus/master[30667]: process type:START name:idled path:/usr/lib/cyrus/idled age:0.000s pid:30677 exited, status 1
cyrus/master[30667]: can't run startup
cyrus/master[30667]: exiting
/var/lib/imap/socket/idle надо будет удалить руками, после чего
запустить cyrus-imapd. Вот думаю, может очистку /var/lib/imap/socket/*
в init-скрипт в stop вставить пока...

А как идея на счет того, чтобы /var/lib/imap/socket прописать в какой-нибудь
/etc/tmpfiles.d/cyrus-imap.conf ?

Не знаю пока. А чем это поможет ? На сколько я понимаю, это для
создания дерева каталогов на tmpfs-разделах, а /var/lib/imap - не
на tmpfs. Плюс это при загрузке ОС, а не при рестарте демона
происходит же ?
Кстати, вопрпос. А чем закончилось обсуждение про tmpfiles в
приложении к sysvinit ? А то я systemd так ещё и не использую.
Вроде было тут же, но тему не вижу.
