Ну, рассылки, как были, так и остались, и их везде рекламируют,
как наиболее лучший способ получения информации.
Просто выросло новое поколение, которое не умеет пользоваться
e-mai, а если пользуются, то только браузер. И им проще на
форуме общаться.
Ну, а Telegram, это скорее замена irk, и место быстрого получения
ответа.
Плохо это, или хорошо, вопрос десятый, т.к. никто ни в telegram,
ни на форум, ни в каналы соцсетей на верёвке не тянет ... , в
общем это объективные условия
Возможно проблема в том, что хороших почтовых программ становится
меньше, или о них начинащий пользователь знает меньше.
