В общем, я сделал два "халявных" пакета, которые для меня работают:

Я использую GPIB-USB устройство agilent 82357b, при втыкании все
модули подгружаются, firmware прописывается, все действует.
Собираю с помощью gear + rpmbuild (соответственно, о зависимостях не думаю).
Для сборки в Сизиф осталось сделать правильную упаковку модулей ядра (я
за это не возьмусь), а gpib-firmware, возможно, не нужно собирать, так
как степень его свободности непонятна.
