я использую на более-менее постоянной основе.
только что проверил -- все создалось и заработало безо всяких проблем:
lxc-create -n alt -t altlinux
lxc-start -n alt
lxc-console -n alt
lxc-stop -n alt
lxc-destroy -n alt
