Можно еще попробовать удалить
/var/tmp/kdecache-$LOGNAME/plasma_theme*.kcache

не первый не второй способы не помогли.
Удалил все /var/tmp/kdecache-$LOGNAME/plasma_theme*.kcache
перезагрузился, окно календаря - пусто.
Удалил виджет часы, затем поставил снова и все - заработало!!!
Спасибо, Сергей, очень помог.
