Наверное, кто-то другой собирал бакпорт,
поэтому у вас в репозитории нет того коммита.
запустите
$ girar-fetch-build-commit -b 5.1
из пакета girar-nmu, и у вас появится ветка 5.1 с тем чужим коммитом.
