Для ускорения сбрасывания данных на винт без кеширования был написан
собственный драйвер специфической файловой системы, работающий в комплекте с
соответствующим ПО в обход практически всех обработчиков. Сначала хотели
отвести весь винт под это а-ля большой раздел (для удобства работы драйвера).
Потом (после серии глюков) пришлось делать обычные разделы и писать уже в них.
