Имеется в виду конечно 9.7.x (9.6.x)?

Мантейнер сейчас расскажет, что обновление BIND процесс
многогранный, что надо перечитать дифф от новой версии и
приложить стопятьдесят патчей, которые так и не вошли в апстрим,
и продумать процедуру миграции, потому как в новой версии
появилась несовместимость с одним вариантом конфигурации, который
настолько секретный, что рассказывать о нём нельзя никому-никому,
но очень важно обеспечить плавную миграцию.
На всё это нужно много времени, а письма в рассылки мантейнера
только отвлекают, за это время он мог бы сделать много полезного.
