А Esc, чтонибудьещё работает?
Вообще последние полгода, с 4.7.0-alt1.pre3, генерация Meta-Foo через
ручное нажатие Esc фактически отключена, если надо - пробуйте увеличить
old_esc_mode_timeout в .mc/ini (в миллисекундах) до приемлемого значения.
