Приветствую.
А где-нибудь собрана информация о том, какие пакеты и как сейчас
могут менять resolve.conf ? Имею сейчас ситуацию, пользуясь которой
можно попробовать собрать знания в кучу. :-)
В общем есть pppoe, есть openvpn и есть dialup. Можно попробовать
сделать, чтобы оно всё менялось правильно, и записать.

Предполагается, что пакет такой сейчас ровно один: openresolv.
Все остальные должны использовать resolvconf.
