Полагаю, это сводится к настройке *dm. У меня #NOLISTEN= где-то там
так и выглядит, и при этом c kdm все работает.
В инструкциях к LTSP-3 было такое:
[Xaccess]
Файл ${B}Xaccess${N} является файлом контроля доступа для
XDMCP-соединений. Другими словами, он определяет возможность для удалённых
компьютеров установления соединения и получения с сервера графического
интерфейса авторизации.
Единственным необходимым изменением в этом файле является
раскомментирование строки со звёздочкой, что даёт возможность любому хосту
получить графический интерфейс авторизации.
Файл Xaccess в моем случае находится в /etc/X11/xdm.
