А можно прямо через hal сделать вызов Poweroff или Suspend из
10osvendor/10-power-mgmt-policy.fdi по событию из /proc/acpi/event? Вроде
бы и файл читается, и вызывать есть что, а как их друг с другом связать -
непонятно.
