Например, в /var/log/messages с именем службы klogd вместо kernel.

Нет, предыдущий раз поведение klogd менялось в 2006-ом году. Но тогда это
изменение было обусловлено изменением кода klogd, а сейчас -- изменением
glibc-devel.
