[18:19:24] I have one question about fglrx and their relation with new xorg [18:19:48] libdrm, if be more correct [18:20:26] Ok ...=20 [18:21:18] why fglrx have so strict requires for libdrm version? for example, it works only with 2.4.0 and fail with 2.4.1 [18:24:22] I'm not sure what you're talking about. I know that we started shipping with our own versions of libdrm and libdri recently. The reason is that libdrm and libdri tend to change and invalidate assumptions in our code. This was biting us in the "behind" especially while we introduced multi-ASIC support.=20 [18:26:26] so if someone wants to use fglrx must use shipped libdrm/libdri? [18:26:35] shipped w/ fglrx [18:27:32] Yes.=20 [18:28:10] Ok, thanks. It shed some light to this situation :) [18:29:23] The other reason is that we're supporting multiple X versions. Shipping our own version of libdrm/libdri we can avoid lots of conditional compilation and hacks trying to work with every version of libdrm/libdri out there.=20 =F4.=C5. =C4=D5=CD=C1=CA=D4=C5 =D3=C1=CD=C9, =D2=C5=DB=C1=CA=D4=C5 =D3=C1= =CD=C9. =F7=C9=C4=C9=CD=CF, =D0=D2=C9=C4=C5=D4=D3=D1 =D3=C9=D3=D4=C5=CD=D5 = =CB=CF=D3=D4=D9=CC=C5=CA =C9 =D0=CF=C4=D0=CF=D2=CF=CB =D2=C1=D3=DB=C9=D2=D1=D4=D8 =C9 =CE=C1 libdri/libd= rm =D7 =D3=CC=D5=DE=C1=C5 fglrx. --=20 WBR et al. --4Ckj6UjgE2iN1+kY Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: Digital signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFJN/0IVtlNyKwhNDsRAtvXAJ4mXpWUHwNZALqXtI9Awp/C1PLOKACgvtPa WtsR8eC/TBUC7uicPS61nFA= =sC/s -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --4Ckj6UjgE2iN1+kY--
