Постоянно пользуюсь xdtv, подобную проблему ловил несколько раз на
интегрированной звуковой карте при обновлении алсы. Перескакивают
надписи на регуляторах звука. Если попробовать управлять звуком
системным миксером, то оказывается, что это уже не "мастер", а какой
то другой регулятор. В конце концов вылечил установкой "нормальной"
звуковой карты у которой ничего не "скачет" (в моем случае это была
старенькая Audigy).
Сейчас глянул на какой регулятор завязан регулятор громкости в xdtv.
Это линейный вход.
