Если карта без аппаратного микширования и запущен аудиосервер (гномий,
например), то многие звуковые программы не смогут получить доступ к
устройству. Некоторые можно обучить работать через ваш звуковой сервер
(mplayer, xine, xmms). Некоторые - не получится. Программы с нативной
поддержкой ALSA (alsaplayer) как правило умеют разбираться с этим сами.
