чистка вылечила ситуацию, правда сделал чуть мягче:) imho
$sudo apt-get remove openoffice.org
$sudo find /usr/lib/openoffice.org -delete
sudo apt-get install openoffice.org

спасибо откликнувшимся, буду пытаться починить базу rpm-а
