Вот наткнулся опять. Дома поставил посмотреть последнюю бету KDE4 (из Сизифа).
Посмотрел, нечего там делать пока, логинюсь опять в KDE3 - фон окна kdm стал
изображать жуткую картину кислотного вида в фиолетовых тонах. Исследования
показали, что это - default.png, на который указывает ссылка xdm.png
в /usr/share/design-current/backgrounds/. При этом
в /etc/X11/kdm/backgroundrc прописана совсем другая картинка (редактировалось
через Login Manager), но kdm очевидно при запуске на эти установки плевать
хотел. Никакое шаманство с переустановкой всяких -design- пакетов ничего с
этим кислотным xdm.png поделать не может. Пришлось ручками:
cp /usr/share/wallpapers/KDE34.png /usr/share/design-current/backgrounds/default.png
Но это же не дело. Помню, что года два назад я на этот баг уже натыкался и
как-то его починил, но категорически не помню - как. Но точно помню, что не
топором, как в этот раз...
