Доброго времени суток всем!
Какая у нас текущая политика по поводу звука? Чем рекомендуется пользоваться в
Сизифе под КДЕ 3.5? Прикупил приличную звуковую карту - Asus Xonar D2.
Качество воспроизведения впечатляет, особенно по сравнению с китайской
TurtleBeach Santa Cruz, которая стояла до этого. Однако у Xonar в отличие от
Santa Cruz нет аппаратного микшера, что и понятно - если его делать такого же
качества как и остальной звуковой тракт карты, то ее цена подскочит вдвое.
Однако - неудобно, особенно в комплекте с кривым artsd. В Сизифе вижу и Jack,
и pulseaudio, и что-то еще мне незнакомое. Что из этого поддерживается? Не
хочется тратить время на разборки с системой, которая окажется на пути в
orphaned. Понятно, гарантий никто не дает, да и КДЕ 4 на дворе, но может кто
поделится личным опытом? Потребности простые - слушать музыку (Amarok),
смотреть кино (Xine, MPlayer) и т.п. по возможности без щелчков, дергания и
пропадания звука и регулярных жалоб cannot initialize sound device...
