Результативно -- буквально только что уточнил. Установите новую версию
пакета perl-Term-ReadLine-Gnu, которая уже одной ногой в сизифе.

Содержательно уточняю. Я собираю snapshot'ы perl-5.8.9-to-be.
Это изредка даёт нежелательные эффекты (но "make test" является
необходимым условием, там выполняется несколько тысяч тестов).
Есть "Change 32538", см.

Этот код касается счётчика ссылок на stdio файлы/дескрипторы (типа FILE*).
Там есть исправление утечки дескрипторов, но это неудачно отразилось
на коде, который ранее пытался самопально исправлять утечки
дескрипторов.
Короче, после тяжелого и продожлительного ... (запоя),
