Тот, что я сделал -- позволяет на Desktop 4.0 с убитым fglrx
установить синаптиком beryl-* и запустить beryl-manager,
который на GF7900 и 8800 замечательно всё организует.
Только с nvidia 100.14.19 есть неприятные проблемы при
переключении между иксами с composite и консолью, вроде бы
исправленные в бете 100.14.23 (не проверял); плюс народ по
форумам жалуется, что 100.xx.yy содержат много регрессий
относительно 9xxx.

В общем случае у нас есть xinerama и варианты типа :0.0+:0.1,
как вот мне понадобилось. В частных -- зависит от драйвера,
да. Интерес сделать -- есть, также есть двухголовые карты
Matrox, ATI и NVIDIA, пара запасных CRT на стенде и возможность
воткнуть лишний LCD.
Непонятно, с кем общаться по этому поводу -- пока вижу, что это
кто-то из тебя, legion, boyarsh и zerg. Что наловил -- здесь:
