Hi!
Как бы не хотели некоторые, в сизиф и тем более в updates/4.0 я это не
положу.
Версия имеет ряд серьезных недостатков:
1) не работают некоторые игры (nexuiz просто виснет/sauerbraten показывает
пустые стены вместо текстур). Кстати, пресловутый прирост скорости
лично на моем X550 совершенно не заметен ;)
2) не работает -vo gl2 в mplayer (жутко тормозит)
3) не работает просмотр в gliv (жутко тормозит)
4) AMD не рекомендует использовать данную версию в дистрибутивах
5) самое главное - в данной сборке убрана поддержка для карт семейства
FireGL
поэтому сегодня уйдет новая сборка 8.40.4, где будет сделан ряд
косметических улучшений.
