По-моему очень давно говорилось что-то вроде того, что двум отдельным
процессам ядро выделяет больше времени, чем одному, и считалось, что
это хорошо. Наверное все относительно на самом деле, и на нынешних
процессорах вообще не актуально.
Вообще на сегодня общая для X и xfs конфигурация шрифтов свела на нет
стоимость переключения между вариантами с и без xfs, осталось
понять как грамотно потестировать и сравнить оба.
