Джентельмены,
я правильно понимаю, что ни 4, ни тем более, 3, инсталлировать на ноут ASUS
X50VSeries, не получится?
жёсткий диск отображается (меню биос - настройки жёсткого диска) на 3 мастер,
на 1-ом мастере, DVD.
инталлятор, жёсткого диска не видит.
Нет доступа к жёсткому диску, и при загрузке в лайв-сиди.

Популярнейшие машинки бюджетной серии. Собственно, у нас на работе мужик
принёс, и опс... пролёт.
Кстати, звук не работает тоже (нет микшера, хотя модули альзы встают),
набортная видеокамера, также себя никак не проявляет.

конечно. виста хоум.

нет, новьё. винт, похоже, САТА, эмулируется как 3-ий мастер.
PS: самое обидное, довольно древняя win xp встаёт, как влитая. Не на сата, на
эмуляцию. Неужели нет способа сказать линю, вставать на эмулируемый IDE?

Не альтом! Это вывод, сделанный из-под Мандривы.

Тем не менее, работает. Из Мандривы :(
PS: Справедливости ради, пробовались Федора, Сабайон и Кноппикс (диски от
"Линукс-формата"). С этим оборудованием справилась только Мандрива.

А интересно посмотреть dmesg под Альтом, хотя "ядерщикам" и так всё
прозрачно.
Я-бы повесил багу с dmesg и lsmod под Alt и под Мандривой.
