Пожалуй что на современном сервере базовая платформа уже 64-битная.

Реально и, вообще говоря, это оправданно.
У меня есть положительный опыт эксплуатации разных 32-битных ovz-контейнеров
в течение последнего года.

biarch -- это костыль; лучше чем ничего, но хуже чем нормальный контейнер.
Да и зачем его ждать?
