Здравствуйте.
Вот решил (от нечего делать) изучить Grub.
Для начало, создать его на дискете и вот что он выдаёт:
# grub-install '/dev/fd0'
Unknown partition table signature
Unknown partition table signature
Unknown partition table signature
..............................................
Unknown partition table signature
Installation finished. No error reported.
This is the contents of the device map /boot/grub/device.map.
Check if this is correct or not. If any of the lines is incorrect,
fix it and re-run the script `grub-install'.

(fd0)   /dev/fd0
(hd0)   /dev/hda
(hd1)   /dev/sda
(hd2)   /dev/sdb

$ rpm -qa | grep grub
grub-0.97-alt2

Это так и должно быть или нет ?

Хмм.. откатил версию до grub-0.94-alt1
Вот что получилось
# grub-install 'fd0'

Но на флопике ничего нет, пустой.
