Не знаю, насколько изящно получилось, но я сделал у юзера при загрузке КДЕ
автозапуск smb4k, в которой сказано при запуске подцеплять нужные ресурсы на
сервере, а при выходе их отключать (заодно сохранил в закладки и показал, где
их искать в случае чего). Дополнительное телодвижение от юзера - ввести
пароль бумажнику, который заодно хранит пароли и для KMail.
