Я бы почитал скрипт около этих строчек (или погрепал, или
запустил sh -x runInstaller) -- возможно, это такая unbreakable
диагностика.

BTW если вдруг получится на этой железке запустить инсталятор
текущей беты сервера (необязательно устанавливать -- хотя бы
увидит ли контроллер/диски) -- спасибо.
У меня возникли некоторые проблемы с загрузкой с тестового DAC960.
