Доброе!
Поставил на ноут с нуля сизиф (installer-i586-20070207). Доустановил КДЕ и все
остальное... (текущий сизиф).
Вылезла одна проблема, с которой пока никак не справился - невозможно
установить локальный принтер (а также подключенный к винде).
Сетевые cups-принтера видит прекрасно и прекрасно печатает на них. Ни через
веб-интерфейс, ни через кде не дает возможности выбрать установку локального
принтера (заблокировано). Сами ppd-файлы лежат на своих местах.
Сравнением с соседней машиной (ALC3.0), на которой есть локальный принтер,
обнаружил, что отсутствует файл /etc/cups/ppds.dat (индекс имеющихся ppd ? )
Кем он создается?
Как научить cups видеть базу принтеров?
(cups.conf с соседней машины пробовал - не помогает)
