Не согласился бы:)
Но данное сравнение не подходит к рассматриваемому случаю. Мне тоже не
нравится, что uname -p возвращает "unknown". Но мне подобное поведение
программы uname не кажется именно ошибочным

Потому как без этого служба ЗдравыйСмысл не функционирует:)
