Стоп, он к амороке ни при чём. Давайте смотреть отдельно,
что получается, если в терминале запустить xmms, и нет ли

Не, dev не обновился из-за запущенного udev и должен был внятно
высказаться, что именно делать для подъёма.
А eth0 не поднялся потому, что его никто не поднял. В аттаче
микроскопический hotplug-скрипт, который можно положить как
/etc/hotplug/justnet.rc и прописать в /etc/sysconfig/hotplug;
это очевидный костыль, другой вариант как для домашней машины
-- вырубить в /etc/net/ifaces/eth0/options USE_HOTPLUG в "no"
и или прописать туда "MODULE=нужный", или забить "нужный"
в /etc/modules, или "alias eth0 нужный" в /etc/modules.conf.
Вообще же это безобразие :(
