Подскажите, куда копать?
в дмесг валится вот это:

Suspend2 2.2.5: You need to use a resume2= command line parameter to 
tell Suspend2 where to look for an image.
Suspend2 2.2.5: Resume2 parameter is empty. Suspending will be disabled.
Suspend2 2.2.5: Missing or invalid storage location (resume2= 
parameter). Please correct and rerun lilo (or equivalent) before
suspending.

загрузчик - grub:
грузим это:

title 2.6.16-std26-up-alt3
kernel (hd0,0)/vmlinuz-2.6.16-std26-up-alt3 root=/dev/hda2
initrd (hd0,0)/initrd-2.6.16-std26-up-alt3.img


При этом не установлено ничего из соотв. пакетов (hibernate, powersave, 
kernel-feat-swsup, etc)

у вас какой-то странный std26. swsusp2 патч прикладывается только в wks26
ядрах.

Это не проблема, если вы не используете suspend2.
