Здравствуйте, sisyphus.
При попытке установить ser-0.9.3-alt2.586.rpm в M2.4 + updates получаю:
error: reading information on service ser: No such file or directory
error: execution of %post scriptlet from ser-0.9.3-alt2 failed, exit
status 1
W: Some errors occuerred while running transaction
Что делать?

Заглянул в спек и вижу:
#_initdir/*
Это значит что в пакет не включается скрипт для управления этим
ser'ым. Но:
%post
%post_service %name
%preun
%preun_service %name
Т.е. скрипт не включили в пакет, а вот вызывать его после установки
пытаемся. Насколько понимаю, Денис, забыл закомментировать также и
секции %post/%preun.

Повесил! Но заранее извиняюсь - не тот приоритет поставил Ж-((
Много читал о проблемах багзиллы - и сам вляпался: нужны нормальные
комментарии по выбираемым пунктам. Это критично для неофитов. Ошибку обнаружил увидев
список извещаемых - посыпаю голову пеплом...
