[sisyphus] Новый udev/std26-up-9 и Palm - проблемы?

Господа:
после череды обновлений udev и переезде на 2.6.16-std26-up-9 я 
обнаружил, что при попытках синхронизировать Palm'овское устройство 
(Treo 650) получаем:

usb 3-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2
usb 3-1: device not accepting address 2, error -71
usb 3-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3
usb 3-1: device not accepting address 3, error -71
usb 3-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 4
usb 3-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 3-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 3-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 5
usb 3-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 3-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71

Раньше культурно создавалось устройство с major 188/minor 1.

А какое было предыдущее ядро, на котором работало (uname -r)?

udev тут не при чём - его очередь приходит позже, когда устройство
распознано ядром.

На alt-7 кажись работало, на alt-4 точно. Я просто давно не 
синхронизировал устройство (кабель потерял).

У меня на Philips 960 такое было. Вылечилось вылючением/включением
телефона.

Кабель-то точно рабочий?
У меня примерно такое было, когда контактики в пальме не совпадали

У меня точно такое бывает, когда кабель/гнездо "раздолбанные" уже порядочно. 
Попробуйте сменить хотя бы кабель кабель.
