Хм.. какбы наиболее правильно разрулить ситуацию, когда некого
системного пользователя нужно включить в группу из LDAP?
Пока видится 1 вариант -завести в лдап поьзователя с такимже uid/gid как
и у системного. Но может есть варианты лучше?

Влепить в локальный /etc/group -- или там группы нет?

Ага. Группа только в лдапе. В общем думаю придётся пользователя в ldap
заносить.
