Захотелось иметь "родной " дистр с более новыми программами
(версиями). Поле обновления с Сизифа (спасибо Mike & Wiki )
обновилась вся система кроме kernel-complete.... &
wpa-suppliciant. Т.к. ставился Гном, то получилось , что в
Гномовом меню получились не все программы, но и в пункте АЛТ
Меню тоже оказались далеко не все. После установки
gnome-menu-editor его ес-но не появилось нигде. Пункты настроек
из альтовского меню ни один не запускаются ( хотя пароль
запрашивают). Sylpheed-claws оказалась в такой кодировке, что
невозможно попытаться настроить.
Вопросы:
1. Как ныне правильно править меню (update-menus не помогло)?
Возможно ли это в принципе?
2. Если проапгрейдится с Компакта 3.0 до КДЕ 3.5.3 с меню будет
то же или это пока в Гноме так только?
3. Хотел настроить по описаниям в и-нете xgl-server со всякими
обьёмными фишками. Как это делается на Сюсе, Убунте и пр.
прочёл. - но не нашёл в Сизифе xgl-server пакета. Кто-либо
настраивал у себя подобное? Поделитесь опытом.
