Попробуйте сделать так:
1) сохраните где-нибудь все настройки nut
2) удалите все пакеты с nut
3) удалите каталог /var/lib/nut
4) поищите, есть ли upsd на диске через find и which:
find / -name upsd
which upsd
Должны отсутствовать.
4) поставьте нужные пакеты от nut из Сизифа.
5) скопируйте сохранённые настройки в нужные места
6) перезапустите nut
