Приветствую!
Я наверное, что-то пропустил. Куда-то подевался ядерный модуль для всех 2.6
ядер. Так и должно быть? А как работать будет? А то потребовалось
помониторить температуру чипсета, а оно никак...

Пакеты kernel-modules-lm_sensors собираются только для ядер 2.4.x - для
2.6.x соответствующие модули собираютсся вместе с ядром (правда, каких-то
модулей может не быть из-за того, что их ещё не переписали для
совместимости с 2.6.x).
sensors-detect может не работать без предварительного modprobe i2c-dev.
