Проапгрейдил ядро с 2.4.26-std-up-alt12 до 2.6.14-std26-up-alt2, и пакеты, что для этого требовались (из backports M24). Судя по логам, не может распознать какое-то устройство и пытается вновь и вновь ("last message repeated 20 times").
