Недавно наблюдал похожую ситуацию после слетания настроек BIOS -
вылечилось переустановкой Graphics Aperture Size с 64 MB на 256 MB.
Видимо, при размере области AGP меньше, чем видеопамяти, этот драйвер
работать не желает.
