ага, тоже вариант. там сканирование было сделано криво, не работает на xfs, и
как выяснилось на cifs.

для сборки -
$ scons
в распакованном каталоге. в результате сборки получается один
бинарник ,build/release/main/madman.

он общается с xmms двусторонне, так что через xmmsctrl должно получиться.
