Костик, для этого необязательно городить лес костылей. Я вовсе
не собираюсь отбиваться от здравых идей ногами :-)

На самом деле в прошлый заход также обсуждался учёт нюансов
совместимости (есть скрипты, которые закладываются на тот или
иной сервер), но IMHO это всё-таки дело рекомендательное (бишь
к софтинке, которая раскладывает вебсофт по виртхостам, и /dev/
{head,hands} системного администратора). А не принудительное.

А, ну так это совсем отдельная песня. Про backend mode уже думаю.
Если успеешь быстрей -- пиши, я до apache раз в полгода добираюсь
(и вот только недавно добирался, как видишь).
