Объяснить я это не могу, но у меня дорожка бегает, если не отключать
шнурок питанию от ноута (батарейка умерла давно) - уснуть и проснуться.
Если уснуть, отключить на какое-то время питание, включить питание,
проснуться - дорожки не бывает.
Если дорожка есть, то она появляется примерно с 30Мб, сразу после
bootsplash-евой заставки.
