Это как раз "правильно" - то, что собрано с новыми библиотеками, не
работает со старыми. Хотя, если делать совсем правильно (как в
glibc), должны появиться зависимости, вытягивающие новую библиотеку.
Если же то, что было собрано со старыми библиотеками, не работает с
новыми, и при этом SONAME не изменился - это повод бить upstream (и,
возможно, мантейнера) ногами.
