так, как мне напомнили в ирке: с myhostname я ошибся. это был
inet_interfaces. после прихода домой (это notebook, забыл сказать), я
получаю вот такую ругань:

задача стоит от неё - ругани - избавиться.
в main.cf есть такая строчка:
inet_interfaces = $myhostname, localhost
myhostname же описан как
myhostname = nick.comp-mir.ru
потому я и привязался к этому myhostname :)
P.S. машина nick, а не ender, потому что под ender забиты сервера как дома
так и на работе - ну мания у меня такая первые свои машины обзывать своим
ником :) а потом было занято :(
